Plastic Surgery-Video Consultation

In order to use this Plastic Surgery-Video service, merely arrange a convenient time for yourself to consult via the world wide web with Dr. Domanskis. You must have compatible videoteleconferencing software. For specifics please see our hardware and software requirements page.

Your request for a televideo conferencing consultation will be prearranged via e-mail, FAX or telephone. A mutually convenient time will be determined and a confirmation will be sent to you. At the scheduled time (based on Pacific Standard Time), Dr. Domanskis will meet you via the Internet and you will have your "face to face" Plastic Surgery-Videoconsultation.

During this consultation, you will show and discuss the problem(s) with Dr. Domanskis, who, in turn, will view you on his computer screen and provide his expert advice. If possible, your image may be captured on the monitor and altered to show you what may be achieved with cosmetic surgery. Also, if you desire, an estimate of costs for the procedure can be provided. Finally, a video cassette of your consultation can be ordered.

The preferred language for Plastic Surgery-Video consultation is English, although, for an additional charge, on-line interpreters in almost any language may be arranged.

Consultation Fees

A fee of $100 (US) per initial (up to 30 minute) cosmetic surgery video consultation will be billed to your VISA or MASTERCARD. Each additional fifteen minute segment is $40 (US). For a reconstructive plastic surgery consultation there is a fee of $ 75. A video cassette (8mm or VHS) of your consultation is $25 (US) ($50 if PAL system).

Limitations

There may be limitations as to the clarity and sound of the computer generated images of either the patient or Dr. Domanskis. This is primarily due to the bandwidth limitations and is greatly enhanced with an ISDN connection. Dr. Domanskis has this available. Dr. Domanskis is not responsible for any technical problems with the respective transmitting and receiving computers or Internet providers. If a problem arises, a credit will be given and the consultation can be rescheduled.
