Sample Email Consultation The following is a sample consultation which Dr. Domanskis provided over the internet for a prospective plastic surgery patient in the U.K. Dear Mister Graham, Thank you for your inquiry. After analyzing your face, I would recommend several procedures to enhance your appearance. However, I must caution you that these recommendations may change after an "in person" consultation. The most improvement could be achieved CO2 laser skin resurfacing. This would improve the texture changes of your skin and ameliorate much of the sun damage. Indirectly, it may also help with preventing or dimishing skin cancers. The deep lines would also be diminished and the more superficial lines may be erased. You could also benefit from an 2)direct excision of the smile lines(Naso-labial lines) This, however, would result in a scar which would be within the confines and take the place of, the present line. This would further soften your appearance. You would get the most improvement for dollar spent on the above. But, if you wanted to look the best you could, then, I would add a 3)Facelift(which also includes the neck which is not seen in your photograph). This would, in effect, remove a good portion of the excess skin. However, this would be a traditional one with its attendant scars around the ears. and a 4)Forehead lift. This, I would perform endoscopically with three inch incisions within the hair. This would elevate your eyebrows and secondarily decrease your forehead creases. One of the reasons why you presently have them is because you are unconsciously raising your eyebrows(and creasing your forehead) to see better. All these procedures could be combined at one operation. The length of the surgery would be approximately three and one half hours. It would be performed as an outpatient in a private hospital operating room under either intravenous sedation or general anesthesia, administered by a MD anesthesologist. The cost of the procedures separately are about:1)$4000 ;2) $1900; 3) $6800; 4)$3800. This is in addition to the operating room/anesthesia fees which would be about $1200 separately. If these were all combined, there would be a discount and the operating room/ anesthesia fees also would be less, about $2000. These procedures would involve you being in this area for a minimum of one week. You should be presentable within two weeks but light activities would be possible within a few days. All the bandages would be off with showering by about the fifth day. Our main goal would be to improve your appearance. You could expect to look better and normal, not unnatural!
